Hedda Gabler (25th March)
Hedda Gabler | 25th- 27th March | 7pm | QMU Venue |
Student Theatre at Glasgow is proud to present Hedda Gabler by Sofia Macchi Watts, after Ibsen.
Hedda Gabler knows exactly who she is. And she has everything she has ever wanted. And it is not enough. When Hedda and Alex return from their honeymoon, news of their wedding spreads. Ghosts from their past begin to haunt their seemingly perfect marriage, and old wounds are reopened. Set over a tense twenty-four hour period, this contemporary adaptation of Ibsen’s classic explores the role of missed opportunity in the making and meaning of a life, and considers the consequences of a twenty-first century woman’s to desire to be more.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the performance will begin at 7pm. If you require early accessible access, doors will open at 6:15pm. Tickets are £11 for members and £12 for non-members-
