Welfare
STAG is committed to prioritising the welfare of its membership and ensuring that members are supported throughout the academic year. Below are some resources which you may find useful if you have a welfare concern. If you have any STAG-related welfare questions which are not answered by the information on this page, please feel free to reach out to the Community and Welfare Officer on Facebook or on community@studenttheatreatglasgow.com.
Wellbeing and Mental Health
The Wellbeing and Mental Health pack contains information about and contact details for several services and support networks which are available within universities and colleges in Glasgow, as well as in the wider community.
If you have a mental health emergency, please contact your doctor or another medical professional immediately. If you need more urgent assistance, phone the emergency services immediately by dialling 999.
Complaints
There are several routes, outlined in the following diagram, through which complaints can be raised and resolved in STAG. More details on each step in the procedure as well as anonymous complaints can be found below.
Anonymous Complaints and Feedback Form
If for any reason, you are not comfortable bringing up an issue directly or giving feedback directly to the Board, then you can use the link below to make an anonymous complaint about anything STAG-related below. These complaints will go directly to the Community and Welfare Officer who will deal with them promptly.
Information on Official Complaints
There are several steps to making an official complaints procedure which are detailed below.
Please keep in mind that making an official complaint can be emotionally demanding so you should assess whether you are prepared to take this on. All complaints will be handled in a sensitive, respectful and responsible manner. While it may not be possible to preserve anonymity due to the nature of the complaint or its handling, every effort will be made to maintain the privacy of individual(s) involved.
STAG follows SRC and university codes of practice and complaints procedures. The links below are the university codes of practice and procedure that STAG follows when handling a complaint.
