STAG Nights: Boom and Bust

November 2010
Stereo, Renfield Lane

“I like large parties. They’re so intimate. At small parties there isn’t any privacy.”

The band is in full swing as you head down an alleyway under the November night sky following the sound of a playful saxophone. You move into what you thought was a Glasgow nightclub but you are now in the midst of elegant dancers in flapper dresses, women and men drinking champagne underground at the height of the economic boom.

At this year’s 10th Anniversary of STaG Nights, Student Theatre at Glasgow (STaG) transform Stereo into a 1920’s Speakeasy and whisk you away into three nights of cabaret and jazz inspired entertainment. The next generation of writers, directors, designers and actors create fresh and challenging theatre, film, comedy and more for you to enjoy this November.
