Francis Henshall, a failed skiffle player, has been fired and quickly finds himself not one but two jobs, for very different masters. Master one, Rachel disguised as her dead brother Roscoe Crabbe and, two, Stanley, a posh twit who is both Rachel’s lover and her brother’s killer. Francis has a simple job to do, he must keep his two guvnors apart - but that is easier said than done...
