‘As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams… he found himself
transformed into a giant beetle…’ ‘Steven Berkoff’s adaptation of Franz Kafka’s tale is to be STaG’s first studio slot of the year. The play tells the story of Gregor Samsa and his family and deals with relationships and attitudes in the aftermath of the family discovering Gregor has been transformed into a giant insect. This production aims to create an alternate reality of twisted normality through movement, sound, light, text and live music.’
